Update - Redundancies

  • 67 Voluntary Requests – All approved.  Email acknowledging issued to individuals

  • HR to attach redundancy calculator figures with ‘At Risk’ letters to those affected

  • HR to highlight the taxable and non-taxable elements for ease  

  • Agreed 227 Carpenters at risk (no apprentices affected)

  • Agreed 28 Carpenter Supervisor

  • Agreed 13 General Operatives at risk  

  • HR confirmed at risk letter & score will be emailed to individuals and a copy handed at the 1-2-1 meetings

  • (advice member to check junk mail)

  • Steelfixer, Scaffolder, Electrician, and Crane Ops not affected

  • Voluntary Request opportunity closes Friday 16th February 24

  • 1-2-1 Meetings to take place week starting 25th March

  • All agreed locally, should recruitment start ,be a requirement for affected trade, those previously released will have the opportunity to return based on highest scorer & length of service
