    The MEH Alliance is a group of contractors that work together to install mechanical, electrical, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (MEH) systems at the Hinkley Point C nuclear power station in the UK. 

  • Who's involved

    The MEH Alliance includes Altrad, Balfour Beatty Bailey Joint Venture, Cavendish Nuclear, Doosan Babcock, and EDF Energy. 

  • What they're building

    The Hinkley Point C power station will provide low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes. 

  • How they work

    The MEH Alliance's model helps contractors work together as a single entity to deliver the complex installation of cabling and pipework. 

  • What they're learning

    The MEH Alliance's approach is based on experience gained at other nuclear construction projects. 

  • What they're creating

    The MEH Alliance is creating new industrial capacity and jobs by manufacturing specialist pipework in Britain. 

  • What they're training

    The MEH Alliance offers a two-week, fully-funded training program at Hinkley Point C to create opportunities for the local community. 

  • What they're valuing

    The MEH Alliance values diversity and recognizes the value that each person brings to the team. 

  • What they're achieving

    The MEH Alliance has achieved four years of Zero Harm without a lost time incident.
